Story Mediation for Individuals and Groups

A collaboration of craft among

Storytellers, Story Mediators and Story

Have you ever experienced a moment when a story just came out as if it wanted to be told?
Story, as a form of consciousness carries experience and wisdom. Knowing that truth, the Story Mediation process is collaborative and it involves at least three agents:

(1) you or your group as the storyteller(s),
(2) we as story mediators/hosts and
(3) Story as an interdependent presence.

What it does

Story Mediation works with your authentic story

In times of change we need a new script. Story Mediation intends to address what you are open to learn, understand or pursue in a particular moment, place or role.

With individuals, Story Mediation requires a minimum of 2 x one-on-one sessions of 45 minutes each.
With groups, different types of workshops can be tailored in accordance to a common activity, projects, shared values or interests.
This type of Mediation with Story activates a process of sensemaking that leads to crafting an expression of something unique: your connection with a Story that is current and living.

What we will do together

Treasure Hunting for Well-being & Self-Leadership

As Story Mediators we invite you to craft mindful and responsible stories that complement who you are and what you do.

By listening to your narrative with Story Mediation you can consciously choose how to act on a narrative that works for you with your authentic story.

We have mediated stories of small business owners, new parents, researchers, people starting new positions, community leaders and people who want to make sense of their priorities and feel better about their choices.

What you need to know

Before we begin, frame your intention

Our approach with Story leans towards authorship, self-leadership and well-being for sustainability. In other words, intentional creativity for responsible personal power in alignment with long lasting stories.

For that, frame a context that you what to explore: an activity, a project, a process of change, an intention that aligns with what you can do.

*The context you bring to Story Mediation should not be in relation to controlling others' narratives or in reference of trauma healing (for that purpose we recommend the guidance of certified therapists or mental health professionals).
